Nash Rawiller's premiership bid has rolled on at Warwick Farm with the leading rider booting home a double while nearest rival Corey Brown remained winless.

The double aboard Reem and Antiguan on Wednesday took Rawiller's Sydney metropolitan season tally to 85, eight ahead of Brown.

It was the second Sydney meeting in a row where Rawiller has ridden a double without response from Brown.

There are now six city meetings remaining this season for Brown to try to peg back the deficit.

"I still think I'm a long way from home," Rawiller said after the last race.

"But I'm certainly very happy with the position I'm in.

"I'm very pleased with the way things are going and I'm getting good rides."

Rawiller's day opened with victory on the David Payne-trained filly Reem, who led throughout in a six horse field to win the Free Entry Today Handicap (1600m).

Payne believes that the two-year-old daughter of Galileo has the potential to be an Oaks filly in the coming season and will nominate her for November's Group One VRC Oaks.

"Being by Galileo she's bred to go all day," Payne said after the filly's win.

"I'll give her a little break now and will nominate her for the Oaks.

"I think she's going to be a good staying filly."

Rawiller and Payne didn't anticipate Reem taking up the lead but when the filly began well the rider decided to go to the front instead of risking being trapped wide.

The filly responded in the straight and was strong to the line to defeat Dinky Mink by 2-1/2 lengths with another Payne-trained runner Gold Essence another length away in third.

"She was a bit lost in front but she gave a good kick in the straight," Rawiller said.

"She definitely showed she is going to be a better chaser.

"I think when she gets up over a trip in a genuinely run race she is a filly who will be able to reel off really good sectionals."

The jockey's double was brought up two races later when three-year-old gelding Antiguan claimed the Narellan Handicap (1600m).

Rawiller said like his earlier winner, Antiguan was showing promise as a stayer.

The Warwick Farm meeting also featured the running of the Rising Star NSW Apprentices Handicap (1100m) which was taken out by Sydney-based rider Brenton Avdulla on board the John Thompson-trained Just Been Lucky.
