David Payne is looking to continue his recent winning run with two-year-olds over the next few days with Winter King at Canterbury, Flaming Rock at Warwick Farm and More Than Great at Randwick.

He will also turn his attention to Brisbane with five-year-old mare Imananabaa to run in the Group One Winter Stakes, her last start before she is retired to stud.

The winner of last year's Group One Railway Handicap in New Zealand, Imananabaa has been purchased by American interests but will go to stud in Australia.

"It will be her last start so hopefully she can draw a barrier because she has been working extremely well and won two trials leading up to this," Payne said.

Closer to home, Cortina Gal, a winner at Kembla Grange on Saturday, has been scratched from Tuesday's Freeway Republic Beer Handicap (1100m) at Canterbury leaving Winter King to represent the stable.

More Than Great made an impressive debut on June 3 and will run at Randwick on Saturday, while FlamingRock will have his first start at Wednesday's Warwick Farm meeting.

Winter King has been freshened since his breakthrough victory at Gosford on May 7 and will be ridden by Nash Rawiller.

"The two-year-olds are going well but it is winter form," Payne said.

"More Than Great won well but it was a midweek race and we'll wait and see when he steps up to Saturday horses how good he is.

"Nash Rawiller will ride Winter King and I expect him to go well."

Payne will also start Bondit at Canterbury with the three-year-old out to break his maiden in the Freeway Hotel Artarmon Plate.

Bondit has six placing from 14 starts and ran ninth in a 1500 metre maiden at Newcastle on March 18 at his last start.

He has had two barrier trials to get him fit for the 1550 metres and will have the services of Blake Shinn.

"He is a bit one paced but he is always thereabouts so hopefully it will be his day," Payne said.
