Peter Moody is exploring all options for unbeaten champion Black Caviar including the Sprinters Stakes in Japan in October and the Hong Kong International Sprint in December.

The leading trainer said he had a meeting with the mare's owners this week, for the first time since she made it 13 straight wins in the BTC Cup (1200m) at Doomben on May 14, to get their input.

Moody said they had asked him to look at the options of an overseas campaign possibly taking in Japan and Hong Kong and he had already begun making inquiries as to the quarantine issues involved.

Longer term, Royal Ascot next year is also an option.

"There is a lot of prizemoney on offer in a race like the Sprinters Stakes in Japan," Moody said of the $1.2 million 1200m race on October 2.

"The prizemoney from that one race would pretty much cover all the races (she could run in) in Melbourne in the spring."

Moody said there had been a discussion among the owners on the $600,000 bonus offered by the Victoria Racing Club to overseas Global Sprint Challenge winners, such as Singapore's Rocket Man, for winning the Group One Patinack Farm Classic at Flemington during Melbourne Cup week.

"They've got no doubt that they've felt that they've looked after this mare and looked after Australian racing very much with her and then for a big carrot to be put in front of her opposition and not so much her is probably a little bit hurtful," Moody said.

"You'd like to think she might be the drawcard, not a horse from anywhere getting the opportunity to race for twice as much money.

"I think anyone would be slightly miffed about that."

Moody said he would have another meeting with the owners in a couple of weeks when Black Caviar goes back into work.

He also revealed he was very keen to try Black Caviar at 1600m and it could happen this spring in the Myer Classic at Flemington on Derby Day ahead of a possible trip to England for next year's Queen Anne Stakes (1600m) atRoyal Ascot.

The Group Three McEwen Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley on September 10 would be Black Caviar's only spring run in Melbourne if an international campaign was locked in.

If she stays at home and is kept to sprinting she could go on from the McEwen to the Group One Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley then contest the three races she ran in last spring - Group Two Schillaci Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield, Group Two Moir Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley and the Patinack Farm Classic (1200m).

The Group Two Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) at Ascot in late November could be her sixth run for the spring.
