Promising stayer Module has kept his unbeaten run with his new stable intact and will be nominated for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups.

Purchased from Lloyd Williams for $70,000, the five-year-old posted his third win for trainer Peter Gelagotis when took out Saturday's Baden Baden Trophy (2000m) at Flemington.

Jockey Damien Oliver said Module, who won at Morphettville and Flemington at his other two starts for the stable, was an exciting horse and would win better races.

"It wouldn't surprise me if he got up to Listed or Group Three level," Oliver said.

"He is going along nicely and he's going to creep up in the ratings as well."

Oliver rode Module a half kilogram overweight at 54.5kg but it made no difference to the gelding who was always in the first three or four and finished strongly to score by 1-1/2 lengths from Conquering Journey and De Arias.

Gelagotis said he was unsure what level Module may get to but he would enter him for the Cups in case he was good enough.

"Some people think he won't stay but we have always felt the further the better on what he is showing us," Gelagotis said.

"He is a very happy horse, letting go, and he's got a bit of class.

"I am not quite sure where he sits but I'm going to nominate him for the Cups.

"We will take him home and see how he does but we might just give him a couple weeks off and then bring him back.

"He worked really well during the week and showed he has improved, and I still think the horse has got bit more to give."
