If Peter Moody needs any advice on which race Typhoon Tracy should run in at Rosehill on Saturday, rival trainer Stephen McKee is happy to oblige.

McKee is bringing New Zealand's reigning Horse of the Year, Mufhasa, over for the George Ryder Stakes and would prefer to see the mare in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes.

There were 17 entries taken on Monday for the George Ryder and 19 for the Queen Of The Turf, both over 1500 metres with Typhoon Tracy and the Grahame Begg-trained Palacio De Cristal entered for both.

"Surely she'll run in the Queen Of The Turf won't she," McKee said.

Mufhasa, who races as King Mufhasa in Australia, ran a close third in last year's George Ryder behind Vision And Power and Black Piranha who are both in the race again this year.

The prospect of a wet track by Saturday is of some concern with Mufhasa's best form on firm ground.

"He ran very well on the heavy track last year but he's at his best on a faster track," McKee said.

"His two wins over a mile he's run 1:32 - the firmer the better for him."

Regular partner Samantha Spratt will ride Mufhasa who is due in Sydney from Auckland on Tuesday night.

The five-year-old goes into the Ryder fresh from victory in the Group One Otaki Maori Classic (1600m) on February 28.

McKee said it took the gelding a long time to recover from a torrid run in last year's Doncaster and he opted not to put him in that race again.

"It's taken him the best part of a year to get over it," he said.

"He's back to his best now but I didn't think the Doncaster was the right race for him this year as he's too high up in the handicaps now.

"The All-Aged Stakes might be more to his liking."

The All-Aged (1400m) at Randwick on April 24 could also be a Sydney target for stablemate Culminate who won the 2009 running of the Otaki Maori before running second to Typhoon Tracy in the Coolmore Classic.

"Culminate will run in the Breeders Classic in New Zealand on the 10th of April and then we'll look at the All-Aged," McKee said.

The 2009 Coolmore was Typhoon Tracy's first Group One victory with her tally now standing at four.
