His stable name is God but trainer Pat Webster believes Thankgodyou'rehere may need some divine intervention to win the Minister's Cup at the Gold Coast.

Thankgodyou'rehere's hopes in Saturday's 1300m Listed feature were dealt a severe blow when the five-year-old received the visitor's drew, barrier 16.

The son of Secret Savings surprised Webster with his last start second to Atomic Force in the Group One Galaxy (1100m) at Randwick three weeks ago.

"I was going to send him to Queensland for the Victory Stakes last week but after he trialled so well at Randwick we threw in a nomination and ran him in The Galaxy," Webster said.

"It was a heavy track for the Galaxy and even though he had failed on a heavy track before I had a gut feeling he would run well.

"I've got no doubts he would have won the Galaxy if it was a dry track as he's much better on top of the ground."

Webster, who had better luck in the barrier draw with I Walk The Line (five) in the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m, is aiming Thankgodyou'rehere at the Group One Stradbroke Handicap at Eagle Farm on June 11.

"I'm not sure what we'll do from the barrier with God and it's probably best to ask his rider, Rod Quinn," he said.

"We call him God around the stables. You can't call him Thank and you can't call him Your'rehere."

Webster expects a strong showing from I Walk The Line, a Tim Clark mount in the Gold Coast Bracelet.

"She's taking the traditional route to the Queensland Oaks and will run next in the Doomben Roses," he said.

"She wasn't showing any form until I put blinkers on her after she was beaten at Newcastle in a maiden last November.

"The track won't worry as she loves the wet."

I Walk The Line had a winter carnival dress rehearsal when Webster sent the filly north to win over 2020 metres at Doomben in December.

She had two starts during the Sydney autumn finishing 10th in the Listed P J Bell Stakes at Canterbury and a much improved fourth last start in the Listed James B Carr at Randwick last month.
