Kevin Moses hasn't ruled out taking Posh Chic to Brisbane for a winter carnival campaign pending her performance at Canterbury on Tuesday.

The youngster will step out in the Ruse Tavern Tipsters Hcp (1200m) and will be chasing back-to-back victories after scoring a solid first-up at Wyong last month.

Moses thought highly enough of the filly to give her a shot at the Gimcrack Stakes in the spring but a wide barrier put paid to her chances.

"She was showing a little bit early but she drew a bad barrier in the Gimcrack and as it turned out she had to work too hard to get across them," Moses said.

As is the case with many babies, Posh Chic went shin sore after the Gimcrack and was spelled.

"She came back and won well at Wyong. She raced on the speed and pulled away from them," Moses said.

"We will see how she goes tomorrow and make up our minds (about Brisbane) from there."

Posh Chic is by Stratum, the sire of Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily, and has drawn ideally in barrier two with the recently married Tim Clark to ride.

The two-year-old race has attracted a handy field including Bouzy Rouge from the Paul Messara stable.

The filly has missed a place just once in five starts and has won two recent barrier trials in preparation for her return.

She is among the entries for the Group One TJ Smith (1600m) at Eagle Farm on June 12 and will carry just 53kg at Canterbury following the three kilo claim of apprentice Josh Adams.

The Darren Smith-trained Albertical is set to make her debut in the race and is coming off a 6-3/4 length win in a Newcastle barrier trial earlier this month.

The Bart Cummings-trained Tolaga Bay is also scheduled to make his comeback at Canterbury after more than a year on the sidelines.

The four-year-old will line up in the Freeway Hotels-Fridays Hcp (1200m) having not raced since finishing seventh to Centennial Park in the Listed Darby Munro Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill in March last year.

He will be one of up to four runners for Cummings, who was released from hospital last week after being laid low by a viral infection over the latter stages of the Sydney autumn carnival.
