Grahame Begg's trip to Hong Kong didn't go to plan and he's hoping for a better result now that he's back home at Randwick.

All Silent finished out of the placings in last Sunday's International Sprint but came through unscathed unlike compatriots Scenic Blast and Apache Cat.

Scenic Blast is recovering from a bleeding attack while cult hero Apache Cat has been retired after being found to have a fracture to a sesamoid.

All Silent will spend four weeks in quarantine and in the immediate future Begg is turning his attention to Palacio De Cristal's Villiers Stakes bid.

"All Silent is fine, he spends two weeks in quarantine in Hong Kong and two weeks here," Begg said.

"We'll think about what we do with him once he gets back."

In Begg's absence for the International meeting, Palacio De Cristal made a return to winning form at Randwick to earn her spot in Saturday's Group Two Villiers Stakes (1600m).

In the spring of 2008, Palacio De Cristal accompanied All Silent to Melbourne where they both won during Cup week.

All Silent has gone on to excel at the highest level, winning two Group One races, while Palacio De Cristal has struggled.

She was tried in the AJC Australian Oaks but failed to run a strong 2400 metres and her win over 1500 metres last Friday was her first for more than a year.

"It's a big step for her but I'm sure she will run well," Begg said.

"It wasn't a very strong race last time but she did win well and she did carry weight.

"We've decided that from now on she will not run any further than a mile (1600m) and that gives us plenty of options."

Palacio De Cristal is one of three runners in the Villiers owned by businessman Gerry Harvey.

The Pat and Wayne Webster-trained Parfumier and Love And Kisses from the Chris Waller yard complete the trio.

Palacio De Cristal was at $7.50 with TAB Sportsbet on Friday with Parfumier at $8.50 and Love And Kisses at $23.

Purrpurrlena will be out to emulate stablemate Palacio De Cristal by returning to the winner's stall after the Vale Jack Denham Handicap (1200m).

The race is named after the champion trainer who died earlier this week.

"I've freshened her up since her last start when she finished fifth," Begg said.

"It was a funny-run race and didn't suit backmarkers.

"She's got a strong rider (Nash Rawiller) and I think she can do well."
