The safe arrival of Apache Cat in Hong Kong has rounded out the Australian contingent set to tackle the rich International meeting at Sha Tin on Sunday week.

The Greg Eurell-trained Apache Cat landed in Hong Kong early Wednesday morning Australian time, joining fellow stars All Silent and Racing To Win who arrived earlier this week, and Scenic Blast who has been in Hong Kong since last month.

Eurell is due to arrive in Hong Kong on Wednesday night but his assistant trainer John Baker reported Apache Cat had handled the trip well.

"I've just spoken to our man over there and Apache Cat travelled over very nicely, he had plenty to eat and drink on the plane," Baker said.

"He's in really good order. He lost a wee bit of weight but not like last year, he lost quite a bit last year but only a few kilos this time.

"He won't have to do a lot over there. He'll probably have one, maybe two gallops before the race."

Scenic Blast left no doubt about his readiness for the Hong Kong Sprint (1200m) with a brilliant barrier trial win on Tuesday.

The world's joint top-rated sprinter together with Sacred Kingdom, Scenic Blast was forced to miss the International Sprint Trial 10 days ago with foot problems.

However, those problems looked to be in the past as he coasted home in a four-horse trial down the straight at his first public outing since the Sprinters' Stakes in Japan almost two months ago.

"I was happy with that," trainer Danny Morton told the South China Morning Post.

"He clearly needed the hitout but he seems to have come through it well.

"The foot problem is just something we have to keep an eye on and manage, it flares up now and again but he appears okay now."

Scenic Blast, All Silent and Apache Cat will represent Australia in the Hong Kong Sprint while Racing To Win will tackle the Hong Kong Mile.
