The amazing tipping of the PPD Club's Brian Blackwell goes on and on - nabbing big winner after big winner - just like on Saturday when he was the only media man in the nation to hand out the tip for Oakleigh Plate longshot winner Flamberge (1st $32.60). Here are some recent examples of BB's tipping prowess - he's the #1 expert in the business for longshot winners, catering to a devoted membership who keep on getting richer through his selections.

CAULFIELD RACE EIGHT: 1 the eachway selection

Tips from BRIAN BLACKWELL
It took the mighty Chautauqua to beat (1) Flamberge 25/1 in two 1st-up outings last year so I fancy the 6YO has to be considered a major eachway prospect for race 8, the Oakleigh Plate (Grp 1) 1100m at Caulfield on Saturday.
Flamberge's form on returning off a break is excellent. He's had 6 first-up runs for 3 wins and 3 placings. On Sep 5 last year, resuming off 112 days, Flamberge finished 2nd/12 to Chautauqua over the Moonee Valley 1000m, btn 1.5 lens. On Feb 14 last year, resuming off 91 days, he ran Chautauqua to 0.2 over the Caulfield 1100m. These are potent formlines by the highest standard. Today, Flamberge is coming back off a break 112 days. Last time in, he won at wfa (Listed) at M'ville 1200m on Oct 17. Five starts back he won the Grp 1 Goodwood 1200m at M'ville. He's a serious contender for today's big sprint.

BEAUMONT (NEWCASTLE) RACE TWO: 4 the eachway selection

Tips from BRIAN BLACKWELL
Tony McEvoy's gelding (4) Lomazzo 15/1 has the early pace to ensure he'll be hard to catch in race 2, a Mdn Plate 1300m at Beaumont (Newcastle) on Tuesday.
The Magic Albert 3YO led until the final 50m when 3rd/11 at Beaumont 1350m Mdn on Feb 18, btn 1.2 lens. That followed his 3rd/13 Canberra 1300m Mdn on Feb 5, btn 0.9. Today, he's got gate #4 and I expect Jeff Penza to push him straight to the front. He'll be vulnerable in the final 100m but I fancy he can beat off the swoopers.

***THE BRIEF PREVIEW***
Bendigo R4: (9) ROLDANA 12/1...Back from spell AOK; wide, closed strongly 2nd/12 MValley 1600m Mdn f&m Dec 4; OK runs Benalla & Warrnambool 1212m/1300m; geared up for return.

Swift Code's no enigma at Beaumont (1st $7.50)

BEAUMONT (NEWCASTLE) RACE FOUR; 1 the eachway selection

Tips from BRIAN BLACKWELL
NZer (1) Swift Code 9/1 has impressed in 2 barrier trial hitouts and I fancy the 4YO has been set for a first-up Oz strike in race 4, a Mdn hdcp 1350m at Beaumont on Tuesday.
Swift Code had sound form in three Kiwi outings. He ran 2nd at Te Aroha 1400m Mdn on debut last Sep 25, then was 2nd/13 there at 1400m on Oct 21 before his last start 8th/17 to the smart Zabeel mare Zabelle in a Mdn 1600m at Ellerslie on Nov 3, btn 4 lens. He's looked sharp in two recent trials at Gosford 800m and Randwick 1050m. There are some handy types ranged up against him. John Thompson's 4YO mare (9) Pronto Bella 10/1could be the KO chance.

Self Esteem can stand tall at Rosehill (1st $18.00)

ROSEHILL RACE FIVE: 8 the eachway selection

Tips from BRIAN BLACKWELL
With only 53kgs to carry (after the claim), (8) Self Esteem 10/1 comes into calculations as an eachway special for race 5, a BM72 hdcp 1800m at Rosehill on Wednesday.
The Team Snowden trained 3YO filly slogged to the line for her last start 5th/11 in BM67 at Canterbury 1550m on Fedb 12, btn 1.8 lens by (3) Multifacets 4/1. Today, she gets a 5.5kgs weights turnaround on Multifacets. I fancy Self Esteem will relish the lift in distance, too.

Robusta robust enough for Albury mile (1st $15.30)

ALBURY RACE FIVE: 4 the eachway selection

Tips from BRIAN BLACKWELL
The 'mile' should be ideal for the improving (4) Robusta 12/1 in race 5, a Cl 1 and Mdn Plate 1600m at Albury on Friday.
The locally-trained 4YO came from the rear with a big finale to run 2nd/13 at Albury 1400m Cl 2 on Jan 31, btn a nose. Robusta's only start at 1600m saw him finish 14th/16 at Albury BM55 on Jan 16 but I suggest we can forget that performance; he had no chance from the outset after a tardy getaway from a wide gate and then was snookered on the inside in the straight and could not see daylight. Kayla Nisbet will probably have to ride him back again from the wide gate but this gelding does pack a powerful late run and if Nisbet can steer him wide out of trouble then he'll be right in the fray.
