No hitches...Peter Moody's happy with Hinchinbrook to head for the UK and a clash with the world's top sprinters in the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot. The Fastnet Rock 3YO's sparkling win in a barrier trial win under full-scale race conditions at Cranbourne on Monday has convinced Moody that he's primed to run well in the UK...He's due to fly out on June 1 accompanied by the Danny O'Brien-trained Star Witness. Moody says: 'I haven't spoken to the owners but he went nice enough this morning and I didn't see anything to say he wouldn't go...I am very happy with him...As well as the Golden Jubilee, Moody intends to run the four-time Group 1 placegetter in the July Cup on July 8.

Hinchinbrook is best-priced at around 20/1 for the Golden Jubilee while dual Grp 1 winner Star Witness is about 6/1 following the news that Rocket Man is a non-starter. The current favorite is Delegator.

Don't start the engines...Singapore sprint sensation Rocket Man, favorite for the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, has been ruled out of the race by trainer Patrick Shaw, says the UK Racing Post. It adds: After impressive victories in the Golden Shaheen at Meydan and on Sunday in Kranji when blitzing his rivals by nearly five lengths in the KrisFlyer International Sprint, Rocket Man was as short as 9/2 for the Ascot Grp 1, but Shaw had consistently voiced concerns that the race would come too soon after his international exertions. Ascot spokesman Nick Smith said: "Unfortunately, Rocket Man won't be coming to Royal Ascot. He might come for the July Cup but his trainer Pat Shaw says that if there was another week between his win last week and Royal Ascot he might well have come.
