Breednetreports: 'At a cost of $200,000, Norzita was the most expensive lot by champion New Zealand stallion Thorn Park at the 2011 NZ Bloodstock Premier Yearling sale at Karaka but she looked worth every cent following a most impressive victory in Saturday's Woolworths Handicap (1300m)...Jockey Glyn Schofield believes the winner has a bright future. "Just looking at her for the first time, what a beautiful filly," said Schofield. Dunaden is still a viable chance to run in the prestigious Grp I 2400m Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October despite his failure at Ascot 2400m on Saturday. David Redvers, racing manager for Dunaden's owner Sheik Fahad Al Thani, says the 6YO was not given a chance to perform at his best because of the way the race was run in the King VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes. He adds: 'There's no definite decision yet about the ARC or the Melbourne Cup as I haven't had chance to speak to Sheikh Fahad but my inclination would be to stick to the original target, the Arc...We didn't learn a great deal on Saturday - he had no cover at all and was in front a long way out, which made him the rabbit for the others to aim at...He loves to come from behind and pass horses so it was a bit of a farce.'
