Let's eliminate all color from the game...Latest report says RVL Chief Steward Terry Bailey is 'running out of patience' with champion rider Glen Boss and his celebrations when winning a big race. Yesterday at Mornington, Boss was fined $1000 for standing up in his irons on Mornington Cup winner Tuscan Fire. Bailey says he is getting close to thinking about suspending repeat-offenders. TVN quotes him as saying: "Maybe in Glen Boss' case a fine is not enough and a suspension is the next step, because he has a poor record in this matter."

One wonder who attracts the most publicity for racing? Glen Boss is the sport's #1 PR man and he's about to be heavily penalised for his enthusiasiam. Terry Bailey, whose biggest contribution to racing headlines in the last year has been his victim role in the Dan Nikolic affair, looms as the head-kicker who will take much of the fire from the Boss Man. That's a pity.
