Top jockey Chad Schofield’s appeal against his 32-meeting suspension for improper riding will be heard at 10.30am on Friday. Schofield is appealing against the decision and the severity of the penalty, which arose from his ride on Saguaro at Mornington last Wednesday. He was found guilty of improper riding and suspended from September 20 until midnight on October 17, a total of 32 meetings. He has not asked for a stay of proceedings.
