LANDING his first Group 1 win in three years with Fibrillation may be the main priority for Tim Martin over the weekend but the Rosehill trainer still has a handy team entered for his home track tomorrow, reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
It says: Leading the charge are exciting three-year-olds Spot The Rock and Night Fever and Martin is certain one will handle the soft conditions and is hoping with the other.
"I was planning to run Night Fever at Randwick the following Saturday but I know he loves it soft and the race looked ideal on his home track," he said. "He looked good winning a trial on a soft track and then he did a great job on debut again on a wet track, last start I thought he was a little field shy, he had a good look around and ran away from Miss Marx on the turn so I've put the blinkers on to get him focused. Spot The Rock did a great job at Scone but he has never even worked on a heavy track so I've got no inkling whether or not he will handle it.
