Peter Snowden has no concern with benchmark colt Sepoy heading off to Flemington tomorrow, but Darley Stud's head trainer is worried about Anise in the Furious Stakes at Warwick Farm, reports Craig Young in the Sydney Morning Herald.

His report states: ''It was a very good run first-up but she is going to foreign territory on Saturday,'' Snowden said. ''She has never been to 1400 metres, I never thought she would go there. She has always been a speed filly but the other day she had trouble keeping up. She is relaxing a lot better and it will be interesting to see how she goes over the 1400 metres.''

Anise rattled home to finish second to Foxwedge in the San Domenico Stakes and will be joined in the Furious by stablemates Aerobatics and Detours.

''Aerobatics needs to relax and she didn't the other day,'' Snowden said. ''She has as much ability as Anise but she needs to learn. Detours really struggled in the heavy going when third behind smart galloper Manawanui last start and will appreciate firmer ground.''

Snowden is set for another big day on his home track with the lightly raced last-start winner Ambidexter running in the Ming Dynasty Quality. ''He won well at Warwick Farm, albeit in maiden company and he is going up in grade, but he has always shown a lot of ability,'' he said. As for Sepoy, which returned from the Blue Diamond-Golden Slipper double in the autumn to win the Vain Stakes in contemptuous fashion recently, the signs are all good.
