The outstanding metropolitan winners of four juvenile races down the eastern seaboard of Australia on Saturday joined the rush of quality gallopers heading to next month's $2 million BMW Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast.

Red Belly Black impressed at Flemington, Extreme Mover thumped his rivals at Rosehill while Jantzen and Military Rose scored impressive stakes race wins at Eagle Farm to book their places in the field for the multi million dollar event.

The David Hayes trained Red Belly Black kicked away the streak of Magic Millions two-year-olds who won all five metropolitan races run for that age group in Australia on the day.

Hayes said the Rock of Gibraltar filly would head to the Gold Coast following her impressive win over the previously unbeaten Magic Millions graduate Lady Davinci.

"She was very green and it was a $70,000 trial but it was a big thrill as she was only a $25,000 yearling so she's paid for herself," Hayes said.

"She's surprised us, she had one jump out and looked really good and she's eligible for the Magic Millions so we thought we should earn some prizemoney as it's in three weeks time."

"We put her in this instead of trialling and we've done the right thing and qualified her."

"She will go to the Magic Millions and she'll probably step out in a set of winkers the way she wobbled around today."

Hayes is confident the filly will also appreciate being in a race around the turn rather than today's straight race event.

"At Lindsay Park she went around a corner and was very good, so she'll improve a lot from this and she probably has to improve for the Magic Millions but I think she will."

In Sydney the promising Falvelon gelding Extreme Mover booked his place in the field for the millions with a thrashing of his rivals at Rosehill.

The Gai Waterhouse trained youngster showed good natural ability from his recent debut second to boom juvenile Solar Charged to cruise home by three lengths.

A $70,000 purchase from the Gold Coast, Extreme Mover looks set to join his stablemate Brightexpectations in the $2 million race.

"He's a Magic Millions horse so I'm sure we'll have a look at that," stable foreman Tania Rouse reported.

Rouse said Waterhouse was currently on her annual skiing trip in Aspen and would return on Friday and confirm the future plans for Extreme Mover.

"We thought he had improved from his recent second (to Solar Charged) and he showed he had today."

Winning rider Nash Rawiller described Extreme Mover as a "very professional" youngster who is the "genuine article."

In Brisbane the Magic Millions domination reached dizzying heights with trifectas in both stakes races for the two-year-olds.

Military Rose led the way in the listed Calaway Gal Stakes by beating Demanding Miss by two lengths with fellow Gold Coast graduate Ringa Ringa Rosie third, another half length back.

Gillian Heinrich trains the daughter of General Nediym, who cost $155,000 as a yearling, and she is confident the filly can provide her with a best ever result in Queensland's richest race.

"I really like this filly," she told AAP. "She has plenty of early pace, but she relaxes well and is very versatile."

"I'll give her another run over 1200 metres in a fortnight and she'll be spot-on for the Millions."

Another of Queensland's top horsewomen, Helen Page, unearthed her major Magic Millions contender when Jantzen showed great fight to win the listed Phelan Ready Stakes.

Jason Taylor got plenty out of the son of Johannesburg and former flier Ossie Cossie to hold out Spirit of Boom, while Ghostnthedarkness was a further length and a half back in third place.

"He'll take a lot of improvement out of this," Page said after the gutsy win of Jantzen.

She won the race last year with Double Heart, but said she had changed her level of attack for the Millions this time around.
