Cathy's back with a bang! Seven time Grp 1 winning jockey Catherine Treymane has returned to race riding in dashing style, winning three races, two of them at Kilmore on Tuesday. One of New Zealand's finest jockeys of the modern era, Treymane has recently worked as assistant trainer to her partner Stephen Hutchinson but she missed the thrill of race riding. 'I've got the bug again,' she says. 'It's like a drug and once it's in your body it's always there...I'm not at full-fitness, I've got about five kilos to lose still but I'm loving it.' She has two rides at Wed''s Mornington program, Bestsenny in the Orbit Fitness Plate (1000m) and Kalashani Son in the Melbourne International Truck Centre Plate (1200m).

Smart 2YO Crack A Roadie is back in work at Stephen Theodore's Cranbourne stables - and the young trainer is setting the colt for an ambitious autumn program. Crack A Roadie will resume in the $250,000 Inglis Premier at Mornington on Feb 13 before continuing his pursuit of the $2.4 million Inglis Triple Crown Bonus of which he has already won the first of three legs - the $250 Inglis Banner (1000m) at Moonee Valley last October. Theodore said Crack A Roadie's ultimate autumn target is the second leg of the Triple Crown, the Grp 2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on March 9 but should he impress enough at Mornington then a Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) run at Caulfield February 23 is a potential mission.
