TRAINER Peter Morgan was happy with I Am Invincible's work at Moonee Valley yesterday but will resist the temptation to start the five-year-old in the $100,000 sprint there on Saturday, reports The Age.

It says: ''I'm not in a rush to get him back to the races and we will save him for either the Heath Stakes at Caulfield on [August] 29 or the McEwan at Moonee Valley on September 12,'' Morgan said.

The speedster was an abject failure at his last start in the Bletchingly Stakes at Caulfield earlier this month without any obvious excuses and Morgan says the horses poor effort is still something of a mystery.

''He had a bit of a pulse in a foot but I couldn't blame that. He doesn't like being held up and [Darren] Gauci might have just grabbed him to try to settle him a bit and he can get a bit annoyed at that, but we scoped him and his throat is fine, so I don't know,'' he said.

Craig Williams will be reunited with the talented Secret Flyer when the Mark Young-trained sprinter resumes in the sprint at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
