AFTER becoming a father this week for the second time, Kerrin McEvoy will turn his attention from nappies to winners at Rosehill today, reports Craig Young in the Sydney Morning Herald.

His report adds: The 29-year-old will fly from Melbourne for a great book of rides, headed by Launay, Shannara and Skytrain, and hopes to celebrate the arrival of Jake Michael with plenty of wins.

''Everything is going well and we couldn't be happier,'' McEvoy said. ''It looks a good day for me [at Rosehill]. Launay looked a very smart horse when he won three in Melbourne last preparation and we think he is heading for better races.

''Shannara was a very good run in the James Carr last start and this is a bit easier, while Skytrain is usually very good first-up and has trialled well.''
