Flu-ridden jockey Glen Boss will delay a decision on his fitness before committing to his book of Randwick rides on Tuesday.

Boss, who was stood down during Saturday's Rosehill meeting after riding Hill Stakes winner Fuimicino, has four mounts at Randwick.

"Glen will see how he feels in the morning," manager Tony Crisafi said on Monday.

Fellow senior riders Blake Shinn and Jeff Lloyd are also expected to ride at the meeting.

They also rode at Rosehill despite a viral complaint while Lloyd's day didn't get any better when he lost his irons on Emperor Bonaparte in the Gloaming Stakes.

Boss's early mounts for Randwick on Saturday include Triple Honour, nominal favourite for the George Main Stakes.

Triple Honour will have his spring campaign finalised after the weight-for-age race.

The Doncaster Handicap winner needs to win impressively to convince trainer Chris Waller he is worthy of a Cox Plate start.

If Waller decides not to chase Melbourne riches, Boss would then be free to try to secure the Cox Plate ride on glamour Sydney filly Samantha Miss.

Samantha Miss will carry 47.5kg in the Cox Plate and Boss is one of the few senior riders in the country who can ride close to the featherweight despite tipping the scales at 52.5kg on Saturday.

Racing NSW stewards, meanwhile, will on Tuesday resume an inquiry into the Shannon Stakes flop of Bank Robber.

Bank Robber was beaten out of a place as odds-on favourite and fell from favour as an Epsom Handicap chance.

Results of a veterinary examination on Monday cleared the Gai Waterhouse-trained galloper of any abnormality.
