This bloke has yet to race on a decent surface having won two races from three attempts on slow and heavy footing. But I expect him to be even better on top of the ground, so his future opponents should be shaking in their stalls right now. The son of Storm Creek ran fourth on debut following a trial success, but was hampered during the early stages and never got into the event. He certainly made up for it at Taupo second-up when demolishing his maiden rivals by 3.5-lengths despite running greenly in the concluding stages. A second trial win was followed up by another easy victory; this time in R65 class at Matamata in mid-October.
