Trainer Clarry Conners has been fined $10,000 after admitting he took Fiction to race at Gosford last month with a prohibited substance in her system. Racing NSW stewards yesterday held an inquiry into the finding of Clenbuterol in a urine sample taken from Fiction after she finished second in an 1100-metre maiden on March 9. Fiction was disqualified from the race and Conners fined.
