TVN reports: 'While Jim Cassidy thought Dear Demi won today's $1 million Grp 1 VRC Crown Oaks (2500m) at Flemington "fair and square", trainer Mick Kent was contemplating post-race whether Summerbliss should have won. Kent was disappointed that Craig Williams aboard Summerbliss was never able to push the daughter of Danehill Dancer into clear galloping room until the final 200 metres."I just wanted her to get off the fence from barrier one," Kent said. "I honestly wouldn't care to see her three wide the trip...I just wanted her away from the fence. She is a big, long striding filly who can't quicken brilliantly. And with that in mind, she got stopped in her tracks three times over the final 600 metres and was finishing the strongest on the line," he added.
