Gai Waterhouse has lodged an appeal against one of her two guilty findings and penalties from the More Joyous affair. She has appealed the "conviction and penalty” after being found guilty of AR140(a) for failing to report that there was a condition" that "may have had affected the performance of More Joyous" in the lead-up to the All Aged Stakes. Stewards fined her $5000 for the infringement. Gai has not appealed the $500 fine for failing to have up to date treatment records of More Joyous. The matter will be heard by the Racing Appeals Board at a time and date to be fixed.
