Two racing TV channels for NZ...The New Zealand Racing Board is to launch a new TV channel in time for the summer racing season. It has the working title TAB TV, says Chief Executive Officer Andrew Brown. He adds: 'Our decision to launch TAB TV is a direct response to customer demand and will help grow revenues for the three racing codes - greyhounds, harness racing and thoroughbreds.' TAB TV will be screened alongside the current Trackside channel.

Dom Tourneur and Steven King are appealing suspensions incurred over the weekend. Both have lodged appeals against the decisions and penalty severity. In other jockey news, Luke Nolen has copped a suspension for 20 meetings up to Oct 16 for careless riding.
