AFTER a stint in Japan followed by a family holiday, Craig Williams resumes riding at Caulfield on Wednesday, reports Racing Network.

When he was last at Caulfield, Williams won the Sandown Cup on UK stayer Caravan Rolls On and the Summoned Stakes on Mahisara.

Williams spent his now customary late spring/early summer period six weeks riding in Japan where he finished fourth on Admire Ratki in the Japan Cup.

He rode six winners in his latest stint and ended the 2013 year with 25 winners in Japan.

The four-time champion jockey is easing himself back with just three rides, including debutant Cautious, raced by Sheikh Fahad al-Thani’s Qatar Bloodstock.
