Trainer Chris Munce is chasing another two-year-old feature race with Racecourse Road in the Dalrello Stakes at Doomben.

Chris Munce is set to continue his outstanding start to his training career with two-year-olds when he saddles Racecourse Road at Doomben.

Racecourse Road will be aiming to give Munce back to back wins in Saturday's Listed Dalrello Stakes (1200m).

Munce won the race with Saint Patricks Day last year, one of 10 feature two-year-old races the former champion jockey has won as a trainer.

Munce didn't start training until January 2015 and has had 139 overall winners.

He has made a real mark with juveniles including feature race winners Wicked Intent, Ours To Keep, Champ Elect, Saint Patricks Day and Boomsara.

Racecourse Road is by former champion Queensland sire Show A Heart out of the top producing mare Kidnapper.

It makes him a half brother to the QTC Lightning winner Cape Kidnapper as well as handy gallopers Tiger Diemjan and Double Superlative.

Racecourse Road won his only start at the Sunshine Coast after earlier winning a trial in brilliant fashion.

Munce immediately eased him with the Brisbane winter in mind.

"He is a lovely horse but it is only his second are start," Munce said.

"We would like to press on to better things but won't get too excited until after Saturday."
