The money suggests Canberra trainer Matthew Dale is set to claim his first Group One success with market-topper Fell Swoop in the BTC Cup at Doomben on Saturday.
The gelding heads latest betting at $3.80 ahead of Japonisme, a firmer from $6 into $4.80 after drawing barrier 3, then Malaguerra at $6.
“Almost half the money is for Fell Swoop which isn’t surprising coming off his Victory Stakes win last start”, TAB’s Glenn Munsie said.
