TRAINER Peter Snowden is poised to complete the Sydney juvenile triple crown if either Helmet or Disputes wins the Group 1 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (1600m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday, reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

It says: Snowden has already won the first two legs of the coveted series with Sepoy's Golden Slipper triumph and Helmet's tough win in the AJC Sires Produce Stakes.

For good measure, the Darley Crown Lodge supremo has won the only other Group 1 juvenile race run this season when Sepoy took out the Blue Diamond Stakes.

"Our two-years-olds have been very good this season and that is pleasing for us because Darley is a racing and breeding operation," Snowden said. "We like to showcase our two-year-olds so it is important for us to get the results."

Helmet is the $3.50 TAB Sportsbet fixed odds favorite to win the Champagne Stakes and give the Snowden stable a clean sweep of the triple crown races.
