PUNTERS seem convinced that the distance of the Caulfield Cup will suit Mongolian Khan ($4.50) perfectly, with TAB taking more than double the stake on the favourite ahead of the next fancy, Fame Game ($9.50).

It has been all one way traffic since Mongolian Khan drew barrier nine earlier in the week, clearly the best backed for the Group One.

“Mongolian Khan had an eye catching run in last week’s Caulfield Stakes so it’s no surprise punters are keen on him as he steps up another 400 metres,” said TAB’s Nick Quinn.

If there is to be an upset, punters think it can come from Damian Oliver as he contends for his fifth Caulfield Cup win, with Snow Sky the biggest firmer in from $15 to $10 this week.
