POTENTIAL-PACKED filly Ambers Waltz may not start again before tackling next month's Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

It adds: Trainer John O'Shea, who unleashed the two-year-old under race conditions for the first time at Rosehill at the weekend, said after her victory: ''The option is there to just give her a barrier trial and then go straight into the Magic Millions. She has got through Saturday's race in good shape and I still have a bit of time to decide on what I will do with her on the way to the Magic Millions.''

Ambers Waltz was ridden by Corey Brown at Rosehill but Hugh Bowman, who does a lot of riding for O'Shea, is expected to be handed the mount at the Gold Coast.

Bowman jets out to Hong Kong today where he will ride in an international jockeys' championship at Happy Valley on Wednesday night. He will then partner the O'Shea-trained veteran Racing To Win in the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin on Sunday.

O'Shea, who last week also produced outstanding juvenile prospect Solar Charged for a runaway win on debut, said he would travel to Hong Kong on Wednesday and was looking forward to casting an eye over Racing To Win.

''Everything seems to be going good with Racing To Win over in Hong Kong so far,'' he said. ''He went over there last week and all reports are that he's settled in well. 'I'll monitor him when I get over there and we'll see what happens on Sunday. There's no reason he won't run a big race.''
