Chris Waller will have runners in four of the five Group One races at Rosehill on Saturday but he won't be limiting his chances of stakes success to Sydney.

The leading trainer will start First Look in the Listed Bright Shadow Handicap (1200m) at Eagle Farm in a quest to earn her some valuable black type.

First Look is a full-sister to Danehill Smile who won the 2006 Listed Canonbury Stakes and was a one-time favourite for the 2007 Golden Slipper before she went amiss.

"We're trying to win some black type with her. She looks pretty well placed," Waller said.

"It's an even race. She's got a good draw in a race with plenty of pace. She should run strongly and hopefully we can get that black type."

First Look finished fifth to Think Mink over 1400 metres at Rosehill two starts ago before heading to Melbourne where she was runner-up to Desatin over the same trip at Sandown.

Waller subsequently gave her a six-week let-up and the mare has performed well in the past when her runs have been spaced.

"She's nice and fresh," Waller said.

"Her last run was at Sandown in Melbourne. She ran a good race there and just got beaten."

Paul Hammersley has the ride on First Look who has drawn barrier six.

Among her rivals will be the promising Risk Aversion who has not raced since finishing third to Crystal Doll at Eagle Farm in February.

Prior to that she strung together four impressive wins in town but Saturday's race will be her first test at stakes level.

TAB Sportsbet had Risk Aversion the $2.70 favourite on Thursday with First Look a $9 chance.

Waller's Group One team in Sydney includes Jade Marauder who will be his first runner in a Golden Slipper.
