A decision on whether Combat Kitty has her first test at 1600 metres in the Sandown Guineas will be made after trainer Matt Smith supervises her work on Tuesday.
The filly has also been entered for the Listed Twilight Glow Stakes (1400m) on Saturday's Sandown program.
Hurtle Myrtle elevated the Warwick Farm-based Smith to Group One-winning trainer when she took out the Myer Classic at Flemington last Saturday week.
The celebrations were barely over when her three-year-old stablemate Combat Kitty put the icing on the cake with victory in the Listed Lexus Hybrid (1400m) at the track three days later.
"I'm going back to Melbourne to see her work on Tuesday morning," Smith said.
"I'll see how she works and how the races line up and put her in the easiest one.
"She has the pedigree to run 1600 metres and that's what I'd like to see her do but whether it's on Saturday or next autumn, we'll wait and see."
The Group Two Sandown Guineas attracted 21 nominations including Flemington carnival winners Galah and Instinction.
Galah is the top-rated horse in the Guineas on 89 with Combat Kitty and Mahisara, runner-up to Galah in the Carbine Club, next best on 86.
There were 17 entries for the Twilight Glow headed by 88 raters Miss Stellabelle and Anise who ran second and third respectively behind Emmalene in the Listed Gucci Stakes (1200m) last Thursday.
The Twilight Glow is restricted to fillies.
Combat Kitty has only missed the first three once in her seven starts and her placings include a second to flying filly Karuta Queen in the Magic Millions Classic in January.
