Trainer Mick Price is upbeat about the chances of Heart Of Dreams giving him his second Group One Australian Guineas in as many years.

Last year Price won the feature with the then undefeated Light Fantastic and Heart Of Dreams has impressed him with his progress this autumn.

"He has trained on fantastic," Price said.

Heart Of Dreams went from a Kilmore maiden winner to stakes winner in just a month last spring and has been prominent at his two starts at Group level this campaign.

Last start he showed improvement from his first-up fourth to Fair Trade in the Group Three Hayes Stakes (1400m) at Flemington with an eye-catching third from last in the Group Two D'Urban Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

Australian Guineas $3.20 favourite Fravashi scored a long neck win over the David Hayes-trained Nicconi in the D'Urban while Heart Of Dreams flashed home to grab third 1-3/4 lengths further back.

Heart Of Dreams and Nicconi are equal second favourites for the Guineas at $5.50 with TAB Sportsbet.

"He (Heart Of Dreams) just needs to draw a gate and get cover," Price said.

"He has got a good turn of foot and will run the mile out."

Meanwhile Hussonet gelding Huxssen will run in the Guineas after connections paid a $41,250 late entry on Monday for a crack at the $450,000 first prize.

Trained by Rodney Douglas, Huxssen made it three wins from six starts last Wednesday when he stormed home from last to beat Mightyblitz by 2-3/4 lengths at Sandown.

The three-year-old failed to be competitive at stakes level last spring but since being gelded is unbeaten in two starts this campaign.

Huxssen is safe in the market at $9 along with Nicconi's stablemate Eagle Falls.

Hayes has flagged the possibility of Nicconi going to the United Arab Emirates for the Group One Dubai Duty Free (1777m) at Nad Al Sheba on March 28 if he wins the Guineas.
