Confusion reigns over who rides More Joyous in the Toorak Handicap with Corey Brown believing he has the booking.

Brown has ridden the star Gai Waterhouse-trained mare to her past two wins but now faces the prospect of being replaced by stable jockey Nash Rawiller for the Group One at Caulfield on October 9.

"I've got a firm booking for the Toorak," Brown told Sky's Racing Retro when informed Rawiller would be riding.

"I had the booking that I rode her yesterday in the George Main and the Toorak.

"I tried to get a three-race booking through to the Cox Plate and couldn't get that but I'm definitely booked."

More Joyous was an awesome winner of Saturday's George Main Stakes (1600m) at Randwick, cruising to beat Trusting by almost two lengths.

She is the second favourite for the Cox Plate on October 23 at $5 behind defending Champion So You Think ($2.50).

Rawiller will be riding More Joyous in the Cox Plate after her stablemate Theseo was ruled out of the spring following his lacklustre performance behind the mare in the George Main.

The premier jockey was suspended when More Joyous won the Theo Marks Stakes two weeks earlier.

Meanwhile another stablemate, Herculian Prince, has re-assumed favouritism for the Metropolitan at Randwick on Saturday.

Herculian Prince choked down and finished last of five runners in Saturday's Colin Stephen (2400m) with the winner No Wine No Song jumping to the head of the market.

However, Herculian Prince was fit and well a day later and will wear a tongue tie in the Group One Metropolitan (2400m).

He was at $5 with TAB Sportsbet on Sunday with No Wine No Song at $6.50 and Hawk Island a $10 chance.
