Anthony Cummings will lower the bar with Chula Vista at Randwick on Monday hoping to get the filly a confidence building win.
Chula Vista has one win from 12 starts and that victory came on debut in April last year.
She has been found wanting in three Group One starts, the Champagne Stakes, Flight Stakes and most recently the Storm Queen.
Chula Vista goes back to a 1550m Benchmark 70 on the Kensington track for reassessment.
"We are lowering our sights with her," Cummings said.
"We'll get her back to her comfort zone and see what she can do."
Chula Vista's sole victory came on slow (6) rated track with Randwick a slow (7) on Sunday afternoon.
Cummings will have to find a new jockey with Glyn Shofield suffering a broken collar bone in a fall in Saturday's Sydney Cup.
She Must Be Obeyed was also to be ridden by Schofield who is hoping to be back sooner rather than later.
"I broke the same collar bone some years ago and was back riding within three weeks so hopefully it's that quick," Schofield said.
Kerrin McEvoy also came down in the fall and has broken ribs which will keep him sidelined for some weeks.
Mon Soleil is the early favourite in Chula Vista's race with trainer Chris Waller represented strongly at Randwick as he pursues his first Sydney premiership.
Waller has a healthy lead of 12-1/2 wins over the past two premiership winners Peter Snowden and Gai Waterhouse who are on 66-1/2.
Waterhouse has accepted with just one runner on Monday, Snowden has four while Waller has nine.
The postponed Gosford Guineas will be held at the central coast meeting.
The Guineas meeting was washed out last Sunday and the feature race was added to the scheduled Anzac day program.
