Apprentice Tim Bell's appeal against a nine meeting suspension he copped at Wyong on Dec 23 has been dismissed. The Racing NSW Appeal Panel, however, has reduced his suspension by one meeting. Bell is currently out on a suspension from Canterbury on Dec 29, which ends on Jan 16. The panel ordered that the suspensions be served cumulatively.
