The Gai Waterhouse-trained Bull Point has taken over as favoruite for the Group 1 $500,000 Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield tomorrow. Since opening fixed-odds markets went up on the race Bull Point has been $3 into $2.80. The early favourite, C. F. Orr Stakes winner Moment of Change, has eased from $2.70 out to $2.90. Bull Point is going into the Group 1 off the back of an impressive first-up win in the Manfred Stakes (12090m) at Caulfield three weeks ago. Melbourne's leading rider Damien Oliver will again partnerBull Point, while regular rider Luke Nolen will ride Moment Of Change. The only other interesting move in the market has been forSmokin Joey, who has trimmed into $13, from an opening quote of $17. The Futurity Stakes is one of three Group 1 races on the fabulous program at Caulfield tomorrow.
