How will Frankel fare when he tackles 10f (2000m) for the first time in Wed night's Juddmonte International at York? Well, the Racing Post says the champ is so far clear of his rivals, who include St Nicholas Abbey and Farhh, that bookmakers have unveiled a number of special markets in a bid to inject some vitality into a market 'rendered moribund by Frankel's sheer superiority.' It adds: 'Yet while Frankel may be clearly superior to his rivals, he is leaving his comfort zone at York and there is a frisson of risk and a soupcon of doubt present ahead of his race that has not been felt for many an outing.'

Early betting on the Juddmonte: Top bookmaking firms Paddy Power and William Hill have priced up Frankel's winning margin and both made five lengths or more their favorite, Paddy Power making that an 8/15 chance while Hills go evens. Both firms are betting without Frankel as well and make St Nicholas Abbey their even-money favorite in that market. And Hills are offering handicap betting on the big race, for which Frankel is 11/10 (minus five lengths), the field is 6/5 and a dead heat is 5/1.
