Damien Oliver has given up chasing the Caulfield Cup ride on well-fancied Vigor. Instead, he's been booked to ride Cima De Triomphe for Luca Cumani. Oliver's manager Mark Van Triet and Cumani were in contact via email before Cumani confirmed Oliver as the CC jockey for the Italian Group I winner. Oliver relinquished the Vigor ride when he realised he would not be able to make its 51kgs weight. Cima de Triomphe is currently at 14/1 for the CC, while Vigor is favorite at 9/2.
