Following her last start win in the Gold Coast Guineas the filly was being set for the Stradbroke Handicap in June, but will now be out for the rest of the winter carnival. Early news for the spring...Kiwi stayer Capecover is back in work and connections are confident he's a Melbourne Cup prospect. Capecover was spelled after the Auckland Cup. Trainer Alexander Fieldes says: 'He had two months in the paddock and I'll take him to the beach for a month...I'm very happy with the horse and we hope to get him back to the form he showed last year...The good thing is that he is fully qualified for the Melbourne Cup.'
