More progress...The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has introduced two multi-touch racing entertainment tables at the newly renovated Adrenaline bar and lounge at its Happy Valley racecourse. Called IBU, the surface of the table is just like a giant tablet computer, which contains the horseracing information that can be accessed with the tap of a finger. The user-friendly and intuitive interface then allows Adrenaline patrons to check the odds, select horses and place bets. The two tables are placed in an area dubbed the IBU Zone which is the latest of the many steps that the Jockey Club has undertaken to attract the younger generation to this uniquely Hong Kong pastime. "The Club now delivers a revolutionary experience of horse racing that is digitally interactive, intuitively simple, graphically attractive, and matches the lifestyle of the younger generation," says Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, HKJC Chief Executive.
