The Hong Kong Jockey Club has today issued Nash Rawiller with a licence to ride there from September 21. His four-month contract expires on January 21 and Rawiller has made it known he was keen to ride on a permanent basis in Hong Kong.

He is currently riding on a 10-week contract in Japan and he will finish there on September 14.

He is also locked on 70 wins for the Sydney Jockeys Premiership with James McDonald, who has four chances at Wednesday’s Warwick Farm meeting to secure the title for himself.

Rawiller has previously won the Sydney Jockeys premiership three times.

His contract in Hong Kong will rule him out of the Sydney and Melbourne Spring Carnivals.
