With a start in the Emirates Stakes looking more and more unlikely, Eskander says We're Gonna Rock was the day's big firmer in the last race. He adds: 'With the track improving the way it is, he's a 100/1 to get a run in the Emirates so he's been $4.20 into $2.80 in the last race. Mark Kavanagh's had a pretty quiet carnival by his standards but We're Gonna Rock looks like being the "spruik horse" of the meeting and I'm expecting it to tighten even further.' (www.betstar.com.au)
