Chad Schofield will resume riding at Moonee Valley on Saturday after passing his final serious test.

Schofield attended a concussion test at Racing Victoria on Monday, a standard procedure for any jockey who suffers concussion.

The 20-year-old passed the concussion test, paving the way for his return after suffering a dislocated right elbow, nerve damage and small fractures to vertebrae in his back following a fall at Geelong on December 7.

Schofield has attended daily physio sessions as well as going to the gym.

He will resume riding trackwork Tuesday. On Saturday he will ride Gambacini in a 1500-metre race at Moonee Valley.
