Talented filly Doubtfilly booked a Magic Millions campaign following her rousing win in the Listed Ascot Handicap (1400m).

In a thrilling finish Doubtfilly stormed home to down Griffon by a short neck with Benny's Buttons a half neck away third in a blanket finish.

Trainer Stu Kendrick has never lost faith in the rising four-year-old and was always confident she could avenge her previous failure in the G1 Tatt's Tiara at Eagle Farm.

Kendrick was relieved to finally claim Black-Type with Doubtfilly who will be aimed at the first two-legs of the summer series before a fillies and mares race on Magic Millions day at the Gold Coast in January.

"She's finally got a bit of extra value for the breeding barn now after this win," Kendrick said. "She deserved it after finishing fourth in the Golden Slipper and third in the (Listed) Gai Waterhouse Classic."
