Nikita McLean will front Racing Victoria stewards tomorrow
NIKITA McLean will front Racing Victoria stewards tomorrow following two incidents involving her sister Jackie Beriman at Hamilton on Sunday.
RV stewards, chaired by deputy chairman of stewards Rob Montgomery, will inquiry in an allegation that McLean kicked Beriman in the female jockey’s room.
And, McLean also faces an allegation that she hit her sister near the scales area before race six.
Montgomery stood down Beriman from the rest of her engagements at Hamilton while McLean was stood down indefinitely as left the racecourse before steward’s could continue the inquiry.
He said stewards had taken evidence from a number of female jockeys who were in the jockey’s room at the time of the alleged first incident. (www.racingnetwork.com.au)
