The RAD Board, chaired by Judge Russell Lewis, said the oral and documentary evidence of the Karakatsanis' should not be accepted.

"The Board finds both men were unreliable witnesses," Judge Lewis said.

Judge Lewis said the Board would reconvene next Tuesday or Wednesday to hear submissions on penalties.

Members of the Compliance Assurance Team raided the stables where Con Karakatsanis had Howmuchdoyoulovme, which was entered for the Yellowglen Stakes at Flemington on November 3.

Stewards charged Con Karakatsanid under Rule 175 k, which deals with any person who has committed a breach of the rules or whose conduct or negligence has led or could have led to a breach of the rules.

Stewards alleged that Con Karakatsanis arranged for Tony Karakatsanis to stomach tube Howmuchdoyouloveme, conduct which could have led to a breach of the rules.

Con Karakatsanis is also charged under Rule 175 (l), which deals with any person who attempts to commit or conspires with any person to commit or any person who connives at or is a party to another committing any breach of the rules.

Tony Karakatsanis was also charged under Rule 175 k and two under Rule 175 l.

Both Con and Tony Karakatsanis pleaded not guilty to the charges. (TVN report)
