Darley will have three runners in Saturday week's $1 million Group 1 Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) with the stable this morning confirming starts for Saturday's Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m) quinella of Guelph and Montsegur as well as Chairman's Stakes (1100m) victor Metastasio.

Assistant trainer Paul Snowden said Kuroshio, winner of Saturday's colts and gelding's edition of the Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m), would miss the Diamond and head straight to Sydney.

"Kuroshio goes back to Sydney tonight. Guelph, Metastasio and Monstegur will all start in the Blue Diamond," Snowden said.

Though he couldn't confirm who stable jockey Kerrin McEvoy would partner in the Diamond, Snowden said it likely be decided before Tuesday's barrier draw.

"As far as the other two rides go, Glen Boss has been booked to ride one and we'll just wait to see what happens this weekend," he said.

"There's a few riders tied up depending on how their horses fare on Saturday in the race down the straight at Flemington (Talindert Stakes 1100m). We'll just see what the wash up is with that before we lock in the final jockey."

In more immediate matters for the stable, Golden Rose runner-up Albrecht will look to put his Australian Guineas campaign back on track when he contests the Group 3 C.S. Hayes Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Saturday.
